Hello, I’m starting this blog to document the journey, explore and share the process of making films. Currently, I’m studying film at the department of directing at FAMU in Prague. During our studies we create many short films, which I’ll eventually post about and share my experience.

This page will revolve not only around practical aspects of putting words to screen but also around cinema in general, film tips, books, music and photography.

“Cinema strikes back” obviously refers to the famous Star Wars film. I’m a big fan of theatrical experience, some call it “public dreaming”. There’s tremendous joy in the communal experience of watching a film in the cinema, seeing how the audience reacts.

I’ll keep short what needs to be kept short and dive deeper into subjects that need more space. Let’s begin!
